Am I a represented employee or an unrepresented employee?
All employees in EG2 and EG3 job classifications are represented by SASDEA.
When will the next negotiation take place? How long will negotiations take?
Negotiations for EG2 are scheduled for 2028. Negotiations for EG3 are scheduled for 2029. We’ll prepare for negotiations well in advance to have contracts in place with as little disruption to our members as possible.
I’m in EG2 or EG3, but I’m not a paying member of SASDEA. Am I represented?
SASDEA represents you in negotiations and labor discussions. However, you will not receive the benefits afforded to paying members, including assistance with employment concerns and legal matters.
What are membership dues, and when are they collected?
Membership dues are $45 per month ($22.50 will be collected from the first two paychecks of each month).
Who is our legal counsel, and who is our labor representative?
Our legal counsel is Brandon Largent, with Goyette, Ruano + Ulmer.
Are the Board Members and Representatives compensated for union work?
No. Board members and Representatives are not compensated for their union work.
